A Brighter Tomorrow
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I worked with a team to address the needs of individuals who have been most severely impacted in Jakarta. Our initiative, “A Brighter Tomorrow”, intended to alleviate the strain of the pandemic on vulnerable communities through the provision of sembako (care packages). Our approach involved creating and presenting pitches to secure partnerships with local businesses, such as Dough Lab and Rebuild., which were crucial in supporting our funding efforts and broader goals. Additionally, we assisted in marketing their products, creating a mutually beneficial relationship. As the project evolved and partnerships were established, my role centered on the procurement and transportation of the care packages. I negotiated with suppliers to obtain the contents of the sembako at optimal prices and coordinated the logistics to ensure efficient and seamless distribution across Jakarta.
While our primary objective of this project was to provide relief to families and individuals around Jakarta, I was also able to refine my skills in supply chain management, stakeholder communication, and marketing.
